Leader Instruction Board
This board is the standing guide for the Personal Ministries Director and the Pastor as they lead the congregation through the study library and monitor each student's progress.
For the Personal Ministries Director — Ivan H. Smith
Your function
You plan, organize, train, and mobilize the members for outreach and spiritual growth. This study library is your training arm: assign courses, set the pace, and follow up with each student.
Getting started
Sign in at the Sign in page and choose the Personal Ministries leader role.
Open your Leader Dashboard — this is where every student's quiz scores and completed lessons appear.
Have each member create an account as a Student and tell them which course to begin (a good first assignment is Personal Ministries Leader Training).
Each week, review the dashboard: note who is current, who is behind, and whose quiz scores suggest they need help.
Your authority
You coordinate and encourage; you do not act alone. Program plans, budgets, and new initiatives go through the church board, and doctrine and discipline remain with the pastor and the church in business session. Use the dashboard to inform your reports to the board — not to pressure students publicly.
Weekly rhythm (suggested)
Monday — check the dashboard and note follow-ups. Midweek — contact any student who has stalled. Sabbath — announce the coming week's assignment. Monthly — report progress to the church board.
For the Pastor — Eugene Preval
Your function
You are the spiritual overseer of the training program. The Director runs the program; you give it direction, protect its doctrinal soundness, and shepherd the students.
Getting started
Sign in at the Sign in page and choose the Pastor role.
Open your Leader Dashboard to see the same student progress table the Director sees.
Review quiz scores for doctrinal understanding — low scores on gospel and doctrine courses are an invitation to personal study with that member, not a rebuke.
Meet regularly with the Director to plan which courses the church will study next quarter.
Working together
The Director brings plans and progress reports to you and the board; you provide counsel, preach in harmony with the training emphasis, and commend faithful students. When a student completes a course, consider recognizing them before the congregation.
How the monitoring works
Every lesson page in the library saves two things for a signed-in student: the quiz score (recorded automatically when all quiz questions are answered) and a completion mark (when the student presses "Mark lesson complete"). Both appear on the Leader Dashboard with the student's name, course, lesson, score, and date.
Students who are not signed in can still study freely — their answers stay on their own device — but their progress will not appear on the dashboard. Encourage every member to sign in before studying.
Only accounts with the leader or pastor role can see the full student table. Students see only their own record.
