The Everlasting Gospel of the Three Angels

Revelation 14:6-12 — The final gospel proclamation calling the world to worship the Creator-Redeemer

Hands-free narration of this study — good for the car.

Synopsis

In earth's final hour, John sees an angel flying with 'the everlasting gospel' to preach to every nation, kindred, tongue, and people — proof that the last message to the world is still, at its heart, the gospel, not mere warning. This first angel calls all to 'fear God, and give glory to him... and worship him that made heaven, and earth,' rooting the final call in the Creator's worthiness, directly echoing the fourth commandment. A second angel announces the fall of Babylon, the collapse of every counterfeit religious system built on confusion and compromise. A third angel warns solemnly against worshiping the beast or receiving his mark, describing that choice as drinking the wine of God's wrath — the most severe warning in Scripture, given precisely because the stakes of rejecting the true gospel are eternal. Yet the section closes not in terror but in a description of God's true people: 'here are they that keep the commandments of God, and the faith of Jesus' — obedience flowing from faith in Jesus, the exact marriage of law and gospel that is righteousness by faith lived out publicly before a watching world facing its final test.
