Study 09 of 10

The Courage to Declare the Truth

The message of the third angel is to be proclaimed with the power and demonstration of the Spirit.

Hands-free narration of this study — good for the car.

Synopsis

Prescott insists that the message of the third angel must not be softened or suppressed. Many have been tempted by worldly policy to conceal its distinctive features, but this is a betrayal of sacred trust. We are to be faithful sentinels who cry aloud and spare not, showing the people their sin and danger. This truth should be proclaimed in the power of the Spirit, not in a tame or spiritless way. Those who follow the True Shepherd will recognize His voice and not follow the 'blind leaders of the blind' who promote human wisdom. We must be a united, holy people, no longer bowing to the idol of men's opinions.
